My brother and I took a winter cowboy adventure up to Big Sky country for a fresh dose of powder and wildlife.

Downtown Whitefish is about 2 blocks of old dive bars and shops. Most of which are casinos past dark.

Our cabin was up the lake road, in a very quiet and secluded area of Whitefish with plenty of wildlife.

North Lake seemed like it was where all the money was, with all the big plots of land and ranches.

Day 2 was time to shred.

After some fresh morning runs, the resort got a little busy…

The summit was loaded with fresh powder from the week.

After plenty of pow pow, we wanted even more snow up in the massive park that runs into Canada, Glacier National Park.

Popped into the visitor center to see what animals we needed to look out for.. No bears right now..

Gotta taste the fresh snow.

Looking for animals anyway we can.

A long long trail…

2 hours in is when we started to contemplate our decisions…

Every new yards… we would find some soft snow. Making a 6 mile hike even harder.

And then it started snowing.. A lot.

After a final night of more snow… we are out. What an incredible state. I will be back when its a little warmer.
